A free discussion about preparation

In this casual 1-hour convo, Amanda will cover:

  • Planning for AI job loss

  • The biggest financial risks of AI

  • The AI stock market bubble

  • How we protect ourselves if there is an AI bubble and crash

Let's talk preparation

Financial and otherwise. While I provide insight from a financial planning perspective, I'd also love to hear what you're doing to prepare, cope, and maintain your humanness in the age of AI. Let's open source this shit.

The spectre of job loss is haunting and real

We are ruled by loser men who care about nothing except their own fortunes.

Let's talk through both personal and collective strategies for living in a country where you can lose your job at any second, for any reason.

We are all investors now

By now, you've heard of concerns of an AI stock bubble. You'd be right to wonder: Should I be concerned? And if there is indeed a stock market bubble, what can I do to protect myself?

Due to the shift away from the pension model and with the erosion of the social safety net, our safe retirements hinge on our understanding of investment markets. A 401(k) is not so much a "retirement plan" as it is a vessel for investing in the stock market, and therefore, it is essential that we know how to protect ourselves as investors.

Meet your teacher!

Because I'm not just another #finfluencer!

Hi, I'm Amanda! You may know me as @dumpster.doggy on the internet.

My business is called Invested Development, and my aim is to make investing education accessible and fun. If you have felt left out of important conversations about money and investing, my work is for you!

After graduating with degrees in economics and communications, I went to work in investment management. I did this for about 6 and a half years. My primary role was called "investment counselor;" I was the person in direct communication with our high-net-worth clients, relaying portfolio strategy and answering all investing-related questions, on the spot, every day. To do this, I earned my Series 65 license, which is legally required for anyone acting as an investment adviser and providing recommendations.

But helping rich men get richer? Yeah, that was never going to be my life's calling. And now, with my business, Invested Development, I've taught over 25,000 students—mostly women—how to invest.

Can't make it live?

All good, you will receive a recording. But I strongly encourage you to show up. Otherwise, you'll probably never get around to watching it :)
